The project
starts at the end of Mdairej East Interchange
and extends up to Chtaura Interchange; its
length is about 20000m. It includes:

A service area at Dahr-El-Baidar
and 4 interchanges at East Mdairej,
Dahr-el-Baidar, Mraijet and Chtaura.

One provisional Interchange for
Zahle Highway Project.
-
One temporary roundabout at
Taanayel (Linkage of the Highway with the
National Road).
-
14 roads are located of a total
length of about 7100m.
-
4 main public work structures:
-
A viaduct of about 200m
length, after the Dahr-El-Baidar, above the
actual national road, at the distance
station km5.
-
A viaduct at Jdeita
consisting of two decks of approximate
lengths 410 and 450m.
-
A viaduct over Chtaura
Interchange of 165m length.
-
A bridge when reestablishing
the National Road after Dahr-El-Baidar.
-
9 overpasses in reinforced or
most of them in pre-stressed concrete.
-
6 overpasses.
-
Nearly 82 hydraulic structures
consisting of pipes crossing or structures in
reinforced concrete frames of standard sections.
-
Nearly 50000sq.m of retaining
structures of variable heights of a maximum of
13m height, selected among reinforced concrete
walls, reinforced earth walls, gabion walls or
nailed walls.
